PLEASE NOTE: Worcester County has TWO district courts. This information pertains to the Ocean City location.
The District Court of Maryland for Worcester County, Ocean City location, is located at 6505 Coastal Hwy., Ocean City, MD. This is the Northwest corner of the intersection of Coastal Highway and 65th St. (and is directly across from the law offices of Cullen M. Burke). If you are approaching from the west, the best route to take his route 50 to route 90 (which is an exit off of Route 50, approximately 11 miles from Ocean City). Route 90 essentially dead ends into Coastal Highway. Make a left turn (heading north). The next intersection is 65th St.; you should be in the left-hand lane to make a left-hand turn. As soon as you turn left (West) onto 65th St., the District Court building is on your right. Please note that it is also attached to the public safety building. It is the part of the building that protrudes on the right-hand side.
If you are approaching from the north... you can either proceed south down Route 1 through Delaware into Ocean City. Route one becomes coastal Highway and Ocean City. Keep heading south until you get to 65th St. The District Court will be on your right.
If you enter town through Route 50, Take Baltimore Ave. north. After ninth Street (up until 33rd St.), you can make a left-hand turn and proceed over to Philadelphia Avenue/Coastal Highway. Make a right turn and head north On Philadelphia Ave./Coastal Highway, making a left turn and 65th St. The courthouse will be on your right. Immediately after turning left (West) onto 65th St.
You will have to pass through security and a metal detector.
